Drexeline station
Drexeline station is a SEPTA trolley stop on the D line (Media–Sharon Hill Line) in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. It’s located on Woodland Avenue behind the Drexeline Shopping Center in the Drexelbrook area, just northeast of a bridge over Darby Creek near Indian Rock Park, a 21.9-acre environmental park with picnic tables, a playground, and basketball courts. Drexeline is the closest stop on the Media–Sharon Hill line to US Route 1. Trolleys stop here on the way between 69th Street Transportation Center in Upper Darby Township and Orange Street in Media. The station has two side platforms and two tracks and is not accessible to people with disabilities. SEPTA owns the station, and there is free parking available for shoppers at the adjacent shopping center. Historically, Drexeline was the only Media line stop serving a shopping plaza until Springfield Mall opened in 1974; today several stops serve shopping centers along the line.
