Djursholms Ekeby station
Djursholms Ekeby is a Roslagsbanan railway station in Danderyd Municipality, Sweden. It serves the Ekeby area of Djursholm and is 8.3 kilometers from Stockholm East station. The station opened in 1885, when the Roslagsbanan line was built. It was first named Djursholm because it was near Djursholm, but the name was changed to Danderyd in 1890 after another nearby station took the name Djursholm (now called Djursholms Ösby). In 1915 the name was changed again to Djursholms Danderyd, as Djursholm had become a town. The station was finally renamed Djursholms Ekeby in 1935. The station has two side platforms and two tracks, is at ground level, and is accessible.
