Daniel Vendrys Powell (born 12 March 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or a striker. He was born in Luton, England, and is 6 ft 2 in tall.

Powell began his career with Milton Keynes Dons (MK Dons) and made his professional debut in November 2008 at the age of 17, scoring a late goal in a 3–1 win over Hartlepool United. He spent loan spells with Crawley Town (2009), Forest Green Rovers (2009–10) and Darlington (2010). He became a regular in MK Dons’ first team in the 2010–11 season, scoring 10 league goals that year and 11 in 2011–12, helping the team reach the playoffs. Powell was part of the MK Dons side that earned promotion to the Championship in 2015. He signed two-year extensions in 2013 and 2015 and, after nine seasons, left MK Dons in 2017 with 271 appearances and 46 goals.

He joined Northampton Town in May 2017 on a two-year contract, and in June 2019 moved to Crewe Alexandra on a two-year deal. Powell scored his first Crewe goal in October 2019 and finished his first season with nine goals from 33 appearances. Crewe announced his departure in May 2021.

Powell then signed for Barnet in 2021 on a two-year contract. He scored the FA Trophy winner’s goal against Plymouth Parkway in December 2022 and was released by Barnet at the end of the 2022–23 season.

In August 2023, Powell joined Hemel Hempstead Town.

Style of play: Powell is described as a forward-thinking winger who loves to run at full-backs and contribute on the flanks. He is known for his pace and unpredictability, which can be an asset when he’s on form.

Career statistics: Career totals include 415 league appearances and 67 league goals, with 478 appearances and 81 goals in all competitions.

Honours: With MK Dons, he finished as Football League One runner-up in 2014–15. Individually, he was MK Dons Young Player of the Year in 2010–11.
