Chrudim Regional Museum
Chrudim Regional Museum, known in Czech as Regionální muzeum v Chrudimi, is a museum in Chrudim, Czech Republic. It preserves historical materials and artisan works from the Chrudim region.
History
- A museum club was formed in Chrudim in 1865.
- In 1892, the institution became a professional museum called Průmyslové muzeum pro východní Čechy v Chrudimi (Industrial Museum for Eastern Bohemia in Chrudimi).
- The first building, in Neo-Renaissance style, was completed around 1897–1898 and opened on 2 December 1898 to house the collections.
- A second building, in Neo-Baroque style, opened on 19 May 1901 to host cultural events and exhibitions.
- In 2003, the museum was renamed Chrudim Regional Museum.
- An additional building on the outskirts stores deposits.

- Archaeological material, mainly collected in the late 19th century

Exhibitions and activities
- Three permanent exhibitions:
- A collection of Alphonse Mucha posters (41 posters, acquired in 1898)
- Local artisan works from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century
- History of the region presented as life-size scenes and models
- Short-term exhibitions focus on local history, natural science, and art
- Other services include access for researchers, a library with thousands of items, lectures, specialized publications, and a local journal, Chrudimské vlastivědné listy (Chrudim Studies), published six times a year
- Conservation services for archaeologists
