Chione erosa
Chione erosa is an extinct species of bivalve mollusk in the Veneridae family. It lived from the late Pliocene to the Pleistocene eras in what is now Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Its binomial name is Chione erosa, described by Dall in 1903.
