Ancient Pap

Ancient Pap, also known as Balandtepa, is an archaeological site in Uzbekistan. It sits along the Syr Darya River in the Namangan Region. The site includes the citadel, the main city, and the surrounding suburb called the rabad. In 2008, Ancient Pap was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List as a tentative cultural site.
