Trinity Hymnal

Overview
The Trinity Hymnal is a Christian hymnbook written and compiled for Presbyterians. It has two main editions that are still used in churches today. It is published by Great Commission Publications, a joint project of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Church in America. A Baptist Edition also exists for Particular Baptist congregations.

Versions
- 1961 Trinity Hymnal: Compiled by the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in 1961. It combines traditional hymns with musical settings of the Psalms suitable for Reformed worship.

- 1990 Trinity Hymnal: Official (though not required) in the Presbyterian Church in America and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and approved by other denominations. This edition includes responsive readings from all 150 Psalms and The Westminster Confession of Faith.

The Baptist Edition
- Published in 1995 as the Trinity Hymnal (Baptist Edition). It is the same as the 1961 edition but adds 42 Psalter selections and includes doctrinal changes: hymns supporting infant baptism were replaced with hymns about believer’s baptism, and the Westminster Confession of Faith was replaced by the Second London Confession of Faith.
