Jan Kickert (born September 19, 1964) is an Austrian diplomat. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and studied at the University of Vienna and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. He has held several high-profile postings, including serving as Austria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 2015 to 2020, and later as Austrian ambassador to Italy in Rome.
