Second Rumor government

The Rumor II Cabinet was the 24th cabinet of the Italian Republic. It was led by Prime Minister Mariano Rumor and served from early August 1969 to late March 1970, for a total of 234 days (about 7 months and 22 days). The head of state was Giuseppe Saragat. The government was a one-party administration dominated by the Christian Democracy (DC) party and took place during the V Legislature (1968–1972). It followed the Rumor I Cabinet and was succeeded by the Rumor III Cabinet.

Key ministers included Aldo Moro as Foreign Affairs Minister, Paolo Emilio Taviani as Deputy Prime Minister, Franco Restivo as Interior Minister, Silvio Gava as Justice Minister, Emilio Colombo as Treasury Minister, Giacinto Bosco as Finance Minister, Luigi Gui as Defence Minister, and many other DC ministers across major departments.
