Wilhelm Götz

Wilhelm Götz (born in Switzerland; date of birth unknown) was a Swiss footballer who played for FC Basel in the 1890s. FC Basel was founded on 15 November 1893, and Götz joined the club a few months later during the 1893–94 season. He played his first match for Basel on 5 May 1895 at Stadion Schützenmatte, contributing to a 2–0 win over Abstinenten FC Patria Basel. Götz stayed with Basel for two seasons, making five appearances and scoring no goals.
