Visakha Steel Workers Union
Visakha Steel Workers Union (VSWU) is a trade union for workers at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in Visakhapatnam, India. It is affiliated with the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC). The general secretary is D. Adinarayana. In March 2008, VSWU, in coalition with the CITU-affiliated Steel Plant Employees Union, won back recognition for the union at the plant in the elections. The AITUC-CITU front received 6,597 votes, while the INTUC-affiliated Visakha Steel Employees' Congress received 4,361 votes.
