Troy Terry
Troy Terry is an American ice hockey player who plays right wing for the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL. He was born on September 10, 1997, in Denver, Colorado. Drafted by the Ducks in 2015 (148th overall), Terry developed his game with the Colorado Thunderbirds, the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, and the Denver Pioneers, helping Denver win the 2017 NCAA Championship. He signed with Anaheim in 2018 and split time between the Ducks and their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls, where he set rookie records and earned an AHL All-Star nod. In the 2021-22 season, he had a breakout year, including his first NHL hat trick on January 3, 2022, and he was named to the NHL All-Star Game. Terry signed a seven-year, $49 million contract with the Ducks in the off-season, keeping him in Anaheim through 2029-30. Internationally, he has played for Team USA at multiple junior events, winning gold at the 2015 World U18 Championship and the 2017 World Junior Championship, and he appeared for the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
