Paouingnan is a town and an arrondissement in Benin’s Collines Department. It is part of the Dassa-Zoumé commune. In 2002, the population was 27,351 according to the national statistics institute. The area is in the West Africa Time zone (UTC+1). The coordinates are about 7.6937° N, 2.2673° E. Paouingnan is also the site of a traditional local monarchy.
