Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium is an indoor arena in Minato Ward, Osaka City, Japan. It sits in Yahataya Park by Osaka Bay and is owned by Osaka City, operated by the Osaka Sports Green Foundation, and opened in 1996. The building is largely underground, with a roof covered by plants.

The arena can seat 10,000 people, with room for up to 16,000 for concerts. It’s been used for major events like matches in the Women’s Volleyball World Championship (1998, 2006, 2010).

Naming history: it has been known as Asue Arena Osaka for sponsorship reasons since 2022, after Maruzen Intec renamed itself as Asue. From March 1, 2018, to 2022, it was called Maruzen Intec Arena Osaka.

Location and access: located in the Yahataya Park area of Osaka Bay, with Asashiobashi Station serving the area.

Sports use: Osaka Evessa (basketball) mostly plays at Ookini Arena Maishima but can also host games at this gym. Shriker Osaka (futsal) uses the arena for home games.

Architects and builders: designed by Osaka City and Nikken Sekkei; main contractors were Obayashi Corporation, Nishimatsu Construction, and Asanuma Corporation.
