Michael Carter (cyclist)
Michael Carter (born March 3, 1963) is an American road cyclist from Denver, Colorado. He still competes as an amateur.
In his pro racing career, he rode in the 1984 Giro d'Italia for Gianni Motta–Linea M.D. Italia, the first American team to participate in a grand tour. He also rode in the 1985 Vuelta a España with Xerox–Philadelphia Lasers and the 1991 Tour de France with Team Motorola.
In 2008, Carter finished third in the World Masters Road Championship for the 45–49 age group, behind Belgian Kenny De Maerteleire.
