Mashael Alayed (Arabic: مشاعل العايد), born December 18, 2006, is a Saudi swimmer and the first Saudi woman to compete in Olympic swimming at the 2024 Paris Games. She began swimming in 2022 after policy changes allowed women to train in the sport and trains with Ettifaq club in Dammam.

She competed in the 50m and 100m freestyle at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, won one gold and two silver medals at the Gulf Games in April 2024, and has medaled at the Saudi Arabian Games. In 2024 she swam the 200m (2:21.04) and 400m freestyle at the World Championships. She received a universality invitation to Paris, where she beat her personal best in the 200m freestyle and finished sixth in her heat. She graduated from Khobar's French School and hopes to study engineering.
