Jeremy James Miller (born October 21, 1976 in Covina, California) is an American actor who became famous as a child. He is best known for playing Ben Seaver on the TV show Growing Pains and its two reunion movies. He also voiced Linus in the animated TV special Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!.

Miller started acting as a child, appearing in commercials and landing a guest role on Punky Brewster in 1984. He then became Ben Seaver on Growing Pains, which ran for seven seasons (1985–1992) and spawned two TV movies (2000 and 2004). He appeared in the 1990 Hanukkah episode of Shalom Sesame and did a McDonald’s promo parodying Best Week Ever.

After Growing Pains, Miller acted in Milk and Fashion (2007) and had a small part in The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down. He also took part in a celebrity episode of Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? with Mayim Bialik and Tatyana Ali, though he did not win the big prize. He had several projects slated for 2009, including Ditching Party, Never Have I Ever, The Fish, and Tar Beach.

In 2011, Miller became a spokesperson for Fresh Start Private Management Inc., a rehab company that helped with his treatment. During Growing Pains, when he was about 14, he received letters from an older male stalker.

Miller is married to Joanie Miller and they have three stepsons. He has spoken about ADD diagnosed around 2000 and has opened up about alcohol abuse, noting he started drinking at age four and struggled after Growing Pains ended. He received treatment with a Naltrexone implant. He once ran a catering business that failed after the 2008 financial crisis, and Alan Thicke helped him find a restaurant job. His hobbies include poker and cooking.

Awards: He won Young Artist Awards for Best Young Supporting Actor in a New Television Series and for Exceptional Performance by a Young Actor in a Television Comedy Series; he was nominated for Best Young Actor Starring in a Television Series and for Exceptional Performance by a Young Actor in a Long Running Series Comedy or Drama.
