Higouménakis' sign

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Higouménakis' sign is a one-sided enlargement of the sternoclavicular portion of the right clavicle. It is seen in congenital syphilis. The sign is named after Greek doctor George Higoumenakis, who first described it in 1927 in the Greek medical journal Proceedings of the Medical Society of Athens and later published the description in German, which helped it become more widely known among dermatologists.
