Građanski Osijek
Građanski Osijek, officially Hrvatski građanski športski klub, was a Croatian football club from Osijek. It was founded in 1917 and dissolved in 1945. The club competed in Yugoslav and Croatian championships. Two players who later played for the national team, Franjo Glaser and Ernest Dubac, were among its stars. Građanski won Osijek’s first city championship in 1920 and became a founding member of the Osijek Football Subfederation in 1924. The club was banned by the communist Yugoslav authorities in 1945.
