Gaselys is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier. It is owned by NYK and operated by Gazocéan for Gaz de France. Built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, it was launched on 25 May 2006 and completed on 5 March 2007. Its IMO number is 9320075, MMSI 228333700, and callsign FMLU. The ship is 290 meters long, 43.5 meters wide, and has a draft of 11.6 meters, with a capacity of 154,500 cubic meters of methane. When it began service in 2007, Gaselys and its sister ship Provalys were the largest LNG carriers in the world. It is currently in active service.
