Eagle 70
The Eagle 70 is a USAC IndyCar built by All American Racers, Dan Gurney’s team. It debuted in 1970 at the Phoenix 150. This open‑wheel, mid‑engine race car has an aluminum monocoque chassis and rear‑wheel drive. It uses a turbocharged Offenhauser 2.6 L four‑cylinder engine, paired with a four‑speed Hewland manual gearbox, and weighs about 1,442 lb (654 kg). The car runs on methanol, with Girling ventilated brakes and Goodyear tires.
