Circuito de Albacete
Circuito de Albacete is a motorsports facility in Albacete, Spain. It opened on July 14, 1990. The main track, called the Full Circuit, is 3.550 km long with 14 turns (8 right and 6 left). The venue can also be run on two smaller layouts: a 2.237 km circuit with 8 turns (5 right, 3 left) and a 1.336 km short circuit with 6 turns (5 right, 1 left). The complex has about 7,200 seats.
Over the years, the circuit has hosted events such as the Endurance World Championship and the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. It also hosted rounds of the Superbike World Championship from 1992 to 1999, among others.
As of October 2019, the fastest official race laps were: Full Circuit 1:32.096 by Maximilian Scheib on a BMW S1000RR in SBK in 2016; Original Circuit 1:20.423 by Jean-Christophe Ravier in a Dallara SN01 for Formula Nissan in 2002.
