Casuariclystis
Casuariclystis is a genus of moths in the Geometridae family. It has only one species, Casuariclystis latifascia, which was described by Walker in 1866. The species has several older names (synonyms) that were used in the past, such as Eupithecia latifascia and Chloroclystis scintillata.
Casuariclystis latifascia is found in many places around the world, including Borneo, the Andaman Islands, Fiji, Rotuma, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Hong Kong, the Ogasawara Islands, Kenya, Mauritius, Aldabra, and the Seychelles. In Borneo, it lives in montane forests, low-elevation dipterocarp forests, and dry lowland heath forests.
The caterpillars feed on Casuarina trees, including Casuarina equisetifolia. The genus is part of the Eupitheciini tribe within the Larentiinae subfamily.
