Carla Lehmann (February 26, 1917 – December 1, 1990) was a Canadian actress who worked on stage, in films, and on television. She was born in Winnipeg, the youngest of five children of Dr. Julius Lehmann and Elsa Hillerns. She went to Riverbend School, edited the school newspaper, and began acting at 15 in Winnipeg’s Little Theatre. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, spent a year with the Croydon Repertory Company, and then appeared in West End productions, including Aldwych farces.

During World War II she acted in war films with stars such as Stewart Granger and James Mason, and in 1941 she appeared in Cottage to Let with John Mills and Alistair Sim. Notable film roles include Susan Foster in Candlelight in Algeria (1944). On television she played Lady Mary Hannay in The Three Hostages (1952). She lived mainly in England.

Lehmann married twice. In 1941 she wed George Anderson McDowell Elliot; they later divorced. In 1947 she married John R. Townsend, an insurance broker, and they had three sons: John Anthony (born 1948), Nicholas (born 1949), and Alain (born 1954). She died in Berkshire, England, in 1990 at age 73.
