Caio Lucas Fernandes, usually known as Caio Lucas, is a Brazilian footballer born on 19 April 1994 in Araçatuba, Brazil. He plays as a winger for Sharjah in the UAE Pro League and represents the United Arab Emirates at international level.

Caio Lucas began playing football at eight years old in Brazil with SMER Bosque Araçatuba and América-SP, later joining São Paulo’s youth system (2005–2009). After trying to break into professional football with Santos and Palmeiras, he returned to América. In 2011, nearly 17, he moved to Japan to study at Chiba Kokusai High School and joined Kashima Antlers in 2014.

In his first season with Kashima, he scored eight goals and helped the team reach the AFC Champions League. He was named J.League Young Player of the Year in 2014, and later won the J1 League title in 2016 and the 2015 J.League Cup. In 2019 he moved to Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, helping them reach the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup Final. He then signed with Benfica in Portugal.

On 23 January 2020, Sharjah loaned Caio Lucas from Benfica for 18 months. After the loan, he joined Sharjah permanently in 2021. By 2025 he had become a key player for Sharjah, with 107 appearances and 46 goals for the club.

Born in Brazil, Caio Lucas became a naturalized Emirati and was called up to the UAE national team in March 2025 for 2026 World Cup qualifying. He made his UAE debut on 20 March 2025 in a 2–0 loss to Iran.
