Barbodes tumba is an endangered freshwater fish that belongs to the minnow family. It is found only in Mindanao, Philippines, especially in Lake Lanao and nearby waters. The species grows to about 13 cm (5 inches) in length. Its scientific name is Barbodes tumba, described by Herre in 1924. It was previously named Puntius tumba. The IUCN lists it as Endangered (IUCN Red List version 3.1).
