Arinj (Armenian: Առինջ) is a major village just north of Yerevan in Armenia’s Kotayk Province. It covers 8.45 square kilometers and sits about 1,300 meters above sea level. The population was 6,220 in 2011. Arinj is an upscale suburb with several mansions, including Gagik Tsarukyan’s mansion, founder of the Prosperous Armenia party. The village is about 41 kilometers south of the provincial capital, Hrazdan.
